Armour or Evasion Rating?

ya I was wondering if for armor do we get ar/es, ev/ar, ev/es, or ar/ev >??
What stat do we want when we get IR? I died to the final boss in act3 on cruel to the frost spears :(. just wondering if I would have had some es if I would have lived cause at the time I was just stacking ar/ev. Hope someone can tell me what is best. Thanks in advance. |

" armor doesn't do anything to mitigate magic dmg, stack res/hp evasion can dodge magic but idk the conversions for boss dmg but i stacked hp and tanked piety xD so [url]http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/146175[/url]

i think that a big reason to pick IR is that armor/ev pieces are A LOT easier to roll the green sockets which most rangers need to support their skills. I dont know about you but I dont have stacks upon stacks of chromatics to try and get 3 green on a 5 socket pure armor chest... its so much easier with an ar/ev chest

" ya but you still want to be able to have armor for physical dmg right? That stuff hurts. I am lvling with a ek shadow and when he hits a physical reflect mob he almost kills himself cause of his high dmg. So I dont like the idea of not having armor. Thats why I am thinking that if I go ev/es. Ill have have all 3 stats. armor, evasion and es, with IR. |
