My first marauder

Here is my level 38 Marauder on normal. I would like to go for damage/protection tank(so I could help in parties). I think Im doing something wrong, though. Any advice?

Tree is absolutely awful. Don't try to make your own tree follow somebody else's until you understand how to make one.

Any advice on improving my tree?

try to get Geofri baptism 2h mace. This should do for now. (I admit I had no plan what next, tho)

I have Geofri's baptism brass maul. Im not very fond of maces, I like swords and hammers/hammer-like weapons.
