How to generate frenzy charges with this build?

After leveling my Shadow up to 67, I'm a bit stuck with his build, which is a self-made one. I'm stacking Lightning damage using Herald of Thunder/Wrath/Hyaon's Fury and using it with Reave. However, while the build does very decent damage for its level, in maps I'll have to rely more on Frenzy charges to kill things fast. But how do I get them?

Blood Dance boots: The obvious answer which I'm not so convinced of because I'm already lacking in base life and really would want boots with life (and other things) on it here.

Blood Rage: I only got 1% regen from tree (could get another 1% easily) so Blood Rage is making life very dangerous for me. I don't have any physical damage to leech from so I'd have to realy solely on Warlord's Mark to not drop too low here (which again asks the question posed for Poacher's Mark).

Poacher's Mark: A decent curse for that purpose, the question is how to apply it fast enough to not have to stop and curse at every pack. I'm using it with Herald of Thunder now which doesn't work well because either the Herald duration or the Frenzy charge duration or both is too short, so a lot of times I'm without charges.

Frenzy: Haven't tried it...stop every ten seconds to get charges? I don't know...


I'd just like to get some advice on experiences with such builds and ideas I might have missed.

Tree and gear are accesible via profile, the short:

Reave + Faster Attacks + Multistrike + Weapon Elemental Damage + Lightning Pen

Mana sustain via Eldritch Battery and two +3 ES on hit jewels

10,1k DPS without Frenzy charges / 3.6k life (all at level 67)

Do you need the frenzy charges to kill trash mobs? Blue and white packs probably die quickly to your reave, even without the frenzy charges i would guess.

So just run frenzy with multistrike and max your charges before you start dpsing yellow or unique mobs and don't worry about frenzy charges otherwise imo. If you don't like that then blood rage is likely your best solution and you'll just have to rely on flasking through the damage.

even with 100 base hp boot are you gaining that much hp with a shadow? I would rather have the 3 to 4% hp regen/s so that I can handle DoT better or cancel that Blood Rage effect. with master crafting it is not hard to squeeze in that 100hp base in other eq. Just my thought.

Curse on hit veageance?

this combo grants you ALL charges with minimum effort

given how much people undervalue this chest it should be easy to get one cheap

At lvl 73 with only 4.2k life I don't feel particularly squishy yet. Maybe I can go with less flat life after all...
