Well its buffed for all life builds and frenzy charges are buffed as well. See things in a larger perspective and not just for CI builds.
So the real question is: Does CI need something new to make it more viable or is in an overall good state? |

The damage over time mechanic is BROKEN. Why even have it?
If GGG is trying to make a berserker type of skill, it should be made accessible to all playstyles. It should be something along the following: It is a WARCRY. It does not refresh on kill. Manual refresh. All damage taken increased by 100% (Berserkers do not mitigate. Ever.) %Chance to make monsters flee per 100 monsters in radius. 50% bonus to regen and leech while the effect is active. Gives bleeding to all attacks and spells. Can not be stunned. Gives frenzy charges on kill. Gives +1 to maximum frenzy charge while effect is active. BERSERKERRRRRRRRRR |

Bloodrage wasn't necessarily nerfed in my mind, just changed to be more useful to life builds.
What WAS nerfed is all CI builds. It's really not a great build anymore. Sure, there are successful min-maxed CI builds, but it really isn't that great without an absurd amount of regen. There need to be a whole lot more "provides x benefit while at full life" to buff CI users AND hybrid builds. I tried making a CI build in warbands and just couldn't. It's nowhere near as good as it was just pre2.0. I won't be allocating skill points into my Torment-League static strike shadow until CI gets fixed/buffed. :( |

CI needs to be re-done now. I really would enjoy it if the person who nerfs these skills would explain themselves as some of these changes seem unnecessary or they are knee jerk reacting to the 1%er's of wraeclast or they really don't want players to have fun or maybe they get their bloody jollies from doing bad nerf checks... all in all thanks for increasing the cookie cutter builds which is exactly what you SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWING. DOT is semi-fudged. A Warcry called Beserk would be cool and also a warcry that makes monsters flee. The beserk warcry could give a random charge on kill(end/pow/fren) because beserk should be a little random, have the regen and leech absorption rates increased, adds phsy damage (hard stat not percentage) and ones def/resists lowered, but I think beserk should be strictly melee, maybe beserk could build up in 1-5 hits, 5th lvl being the max of what it coudl currently give you. Blood rage needs to be renerfed (lol) but it can fill the niche for all playstyles (spellslingers/meleeswingers alike), don't forget that melee has phase run again and its quite a useful skill for anyone really. Monsters flee warcry: perhaps call it howl and for every monster that runs player gets a buff of some sort? cheers Conan: Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. There is no need to take a step back after moving forward. Instead, make a leap and go all the way. " Low life has always been broken, it was quite obvious that the bonuses granted to low-life where designed around players occasionally benefiting from them. Or, alternatively, jumping true great hoops in order to permanently benefit from them. Shavronnes ridiculed this design from the get-go and undermined it entirely, resulting in the situation we have today. The correct approach(IMO) would be to increase the threshold to 50% of life(increasing viability beyond shavronnes) and reducing the buffs associated with it in power. At that point, increasing both the "on full life" and on "half-life? :p" scope of bonuses. Specially the "full life" bonuses have been severely lacking since forever. Because of the Blood Rage nerf, CI and lowlife needs a total rework now in order to shed some light on their most hated builds which are ATTACKER BUILDS that's actually using ES.

I think frenzy charges are just too good personally, it warps too much of how u build, get frenzy involved or ur damage is comparatively pants basically
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
