Reminds me though of a competition to get into the Age of Conan beta back a few years ago. You had to write a passage why you should get a beta key, most did one begging to the 'gods', some did songs similar to this, I however, wrote a dark poem, which is now published. The things you do for games. By failing to prepare, you prepare to fail.
