Question about meta crafting

Hey guys, so I was wondering if you have a rare item with 2 prefixes and a suffix and put the elreon "can not change prefix" mod on it" follow by scouring it, what would happen?

You will get rare item with only those 2 prefixes that were protected by the crafted suffix that will be deleted by scouring together with the other suffix. Put more effort into research, it has been discussed all over the place.
