Gore effect not working with icestorm skill

I bought the extra gore weapon effect hoping that it would work with icestorm skill but it did not from what I can tell. Is this a bug?

Extra gore applies when dealing physical damage to the enemy, or on crits.
If you are unsatisfied with the microtransaction's effect, I suggest you contact support. They sometimes issue refunds if people buy microtransactions under a misunderstanding of how they will apply. | |

The description itself stated spells and attacks and nothing else. This is a misleading description no? |

That phrasing is absolutely misleading for something with a price tag.
"If they actually showed gameplay with it zoomed out and then zoomed it in for the real one I think there would be actual riots in the street. I think that people would burn the building down."
