Orb of chance and rarity effect?

do rarity have any effect of the outcome of an orb of chance?

(I think you are talking about the rarity of the unique?) Yes, they do. In the beginning of PoE, orb of chances had a fixed probability of spawning a unique. This would make it very easy to get powerfull uniques that shared no common base with an other unique.

Now orb of chance probability to spawn a unique is based on the rarity of the unique. It also means that if several uniques share the same base, you will not have less chance to get the unique you want, you will just get more uniques that you don't want.

But if you were asking about rarity bonus on your character or maps, that has no effect whatsoever, you can't influence chancing in any way at all.

yes, but it is worth noting that for some special unqiues you have to get item from map with zana mod.


example: You can't chance headhunter on belt found in dried lake, you need belt from map with nemesis mod

It was in the last patch, Rhoa feather is now usable only for fishing lure crafting.

i thought they removed fishing with monstamunch going on his long time vacation?

I never really ever chanced anything until loot filters came along. Now I chance every gavel, occultists vestment and Judgement staff I come across.

2 of these so far...



Far and away better odds than normal drop in my personal experience.
