Counter Burst Damage Help

I am looking for a way to counter burst damage while leveling.

I did read a guide that used:

Enduring Cry/Cast When Damaged/Immortal Call/Increased Duration

I really like the idea. And Immortal call is OP. But I also heard that Enduring Cry doesn't work with this setup.

Anyone have a similar setup that does work with the new patch?

Enduring Cry is no longer a Spell (it has the new Warcry type now) and as such can no longer be triggered by Cast When Damage Taken.

Immortal Call, however, can still be triggered. So as long as you have a way of reliably generating Endurance Charges - such as with Daresso's Defiance, Endurance Charge on Melee Stun or simply a manually-cast Enduring Cry - that part of the combo is still possible and very viable.

Really not sure what to use then. Been hitting more +health passives. And toying around with decoy totem.

Running with max resists in cruel atm. Got pwn'd by a lightning skill spider and a rain of arrows chic.
