Update > Level 84 passive skill tree.
- Note: This is clutch. 20% extra cold damage goes a long way with AB (and Hatred), and since everything's doing cold damage, the +5% chance to freeze is especially relevant.

Random notes:
- EK is nice, 'cause Hatred aura applies to it, just like it says in the Wiki.
- Lightning Coil, I admit, is kinda double-edged because in order to hit the resists with this build, you have to sacrifice a bit on the life to get anything reasonable. I still like it better than having an extra ~400 life, though.

Tree Stuff:

You wanna start by going this way: Tree 01

Then get Soul Siphon ASAP: Tree 02. (This will make leveling much nicer.)

Next get Herbalism and Acrobatics. Then start making your way to the Duelist part of the tree (2 nodes that way, where there's a health deposit, before picking up the rest of the dodge and the spell dodge.) Tree 03.

Then immediately get Golem's Blood and the health nodes. Travel up the projectile nodes. Tree 04.

Then get Heart of Oak. You can get it earlier if you like. Travel up the tree to Blood Drinker. Then make way to the Shadow's health nodes. Tree 05.

Tree 07.

And then onward.



Start with Split Arrow. Get Faster Attacks on a link with it when you can. Get Blink Arrow and use it for evasion/maneuver. At level 28, add Tornado Shot to your repertoire. Try to level up an Ethereal Knives as you go. Don't worry about Arctic Breath until you get a 6L, but if you find it, level it up if you have the int. As soon as you can get Arctic Armor, get it and use it.

Pick up bows and use transmutation orbs on 'em while you're leveling up... you only need 2 good mods. Also pick up jewelry and do the same (also: hold onto rings/etc that you're not using so you can fix your resists later on when a sweet piece of gear drops that makes you need to shift around your resists). Keep your potions nice, however you like 'em.

I see you're trying to mix both CoC and physical damage scaling in your build.
However, that is not effective : sure you can do both but you will lose a lot of potential comparing to going full CoC mode or full physical crit bow.

The most efficient way to go for CoC is first to get a weapon with a high base crit chance (I don't know why you prioritized physical damage over critical chance on yours) and get all the crit you can on the tree + some spell crit if you're nearby.

Here, you're picking up physical damage nodes for bows, which is inefficient because your real DPS should come from the spells you cast with CoC, not the damage you deal with your bow.
I'll think about what you said. One upside of diversifying different types of damage (Phys & Elem, with AB/EK & TS/COC) is penetrating resists. Reflect is less of a thing now, so no worries on that.

With only TS + GMP + Faster Attacks, you can't get enough DPS on Tornado Shot to justify going for some physical damage on bow and tree while you lose damage or survivability on the tree and, most importantly, base crit chance on your bow.
If anything, you should get a bow with a high crit chance, this is the single most important thing for CoC.
I won't run the calculations because it's quite complex, but knowing how much damage CoC does and how scaling physical damage in PoE works, I assure you, you're losing a TREMENDOUS amount of DPS on CoC for minimal DPS gain on Tornado Shot.
Let's figure this out...

Tornado Shot >
Combined Damage: 462 - 1134
Physical Damage: 314 - 756
Cold Damage: 146 - 339

Pros: Freeze (super relevant). Every time it crits, y'know?, it's gonna freeze those large groups of mobs this build loves to hit.

Arctic Breath >
Total Damage: 757 - 1136

Given that spells are significantly less probable to crit, the crit multiplier means that if you forego physical damage (say by using a Quill Rain), all that lovely crit multiplier suddenly means much less. Not to mention freezing things suddenly isn't something you can depend on.

180 (generic) crit chance, 222 bow crit chance (180 vs 402) >
This translates into 26.3% crit chance (TS) vs 15.2% crit chance (AB) for me currently.


Edit: I still hold that the bow passive nodes are good--but yeah, if I could pick up a 6L bow with a better crit chance, I'd do it...
