Minion Health Bars
Well it would be nice to see their health again, maybe some health bars when you press "A" (Key default to target dead bodies on the floor)
Most summoners use this key anyway, so just make it that the healthbars are appearing when you press that key down. That way no party members get annoyed by even more clutter on the screen ;) Ingamename: Skilluuhh

There should be a few more UI options in the menu.
I agree that there should be an option to separate (or combine) your spectres into individual (or a singular) minion boxes so you can always see their health for if you need to heal them up with HP Minion Pot. Spectres are usually the main DPS for minion masters due to the use of GMP and/or Faster Attacks, and players usually grab one specific minion- like the fire dogs from the docks or the LMP Banners from Solaris Temple, and then keep this minion throughout the game or for Maps. Would definitely make things much easier if you can see all spectre HP bars at the top. Making the Aura + Minion boxes smaller to allow more on-screen could also help. You should also be able to hide or consolidate the aura's that you have on, because usually there's way too many at the top of your screen if your in a party, and it then gets annoying. My minion witch can run 5 Aura's at once, and I know if whether or not I have them enabled by quickly scanning the skills if they're being used... I personally don't want the aura's spamming the top of my screen and would much prefer to see the 3 spectres' HP. Another option is to allow Corpse Targeting to also be minion-targeting so you can just quickly scan the health of all your minions. It can just use the same button, but allow you to target zombs and skellie HP as well as corpses. This can be annoying if there's a lot of corpses on screen, so a second button may be useful (another option?) but aside from that, one universal button for minion witches would seem fine. The reason you'd want to be able to target Zombies/Spectres is to quickly see how beat up they are getting from the enemy, for if you should change gems (I sometimes run with +Quality/Quantity gems), or if you should respec some skill points. This option isn't completely necessary as you can tell if your zombs are just exploding all over the place, but it could help some people. |

" I just needed to call bullshit on this one. There were plenty of summoners calling for this change. We'd get at least one thread every 2 days on the forum calling for this change. It got asked since closed beta from summoners to change this. Obviously its not the end of changes for this specific function, its a quick fix asked by many and it will get improved in the future. |

" I use life flasks of animation to heal minions so I don't have to re-summon the mana intensive ones during a battle. It would be nice to have a more granular gauge of when to do that than "when the first one dies" or "when it feels like they're about to die". |

I also would like to see health bars for my minons... for me its mostly about quickly assesing where their life is at and being able to respond quickly. There are many scenarios have knowlege of their health quickly would be useful. Early in the game it wasnt a big deal, but on the harder levels I find myself wishing I had that many times. Really I only care about it for zombies, Skeletons are fodder anyway.

" That's fine if that works for you but some builds rely on keeping all minions, including zombies, alive for as long as possible, and for some builds (like mine) it's quicker to heal minions than raise a new bunch. At any rate I don't know of any reason why there shouldn't be a toggle for minion targeting. |

If you are micro-managing all your minions HP you are doing it wrong.
That said..if people want to see the HP on the minions Im sure GGG will make it so. If making them not be targetable means a small % of summoners have to suffer for a while not seeing the minions HP so be it. The change was very much needed. The item is yours when it is in your bag.

Not being able to see your minions life as a summoner is complete bull****. Whoever decided that it was a good idea to remove the health bar without having an option to toggle it on needs to be fired. I use 3 spectres and like to keep them topped off without having to spam my potions constantly. Also it is nice to keep zombies at full health as well since my main attack consists of ice spear/multiple projections/elemental prof, and results in the majority of all mobs being frozen and shattering when they die, not allowing me to create new zombies. This needs to be fixed.

What I was trying to say before is that removing a feature from a game to implement another seems unfair to people who at that time would rely on said feature.
it's rare for me to check minion health, but not being able to at all seems silly. most boss fights don't spawn enemies the summoner can res up zombies for. as it was suggested before, a key for minion targeting would solve this and everyone would be happy. |
