Elemental Equilibrium?
CoC - Discharge (Power + Endurance) - Ice Nova
Hey, does EE work having these 3 gems linked together? I read somewhere that Ice Nova is cast after a small delay thus making the first Discharge hit unefficient but buffing the following Discharges. Is this how it works or do mobs just get +25% to all Ele Res all the time? |

The first hit for EE is uneffected by EE so assuming you deal no elemental damage on hit the discharge will not be reduced or buffed.
If you run a herald (herald of ice, for example) then HoI will apply before your discharge and buff it. If you are relying on ice nova then I believe the ice nova will trigger based on where it is in your link setup, so if you place it in front of the discharge then your build will try to CoC the ice nova before it rolls CoC on the discharge. I could be wrong on this one though. It's also possible for your CoC to only trigger one of the two abilities as far as I can tell, so it's not foolproof. Using a herald is still the most consistent way to trigger EE for a CoC discharge imo. Every Saturday = National Booze n Poe Day

"If you hit an enemy with two different elements at the same time it will give -50% Resistance to third element and +25% to both elements used. A hit carrying all three elements types will give +25% to all elemental Resistances."
Herald of Ice: "Channel ice though your hands, adding cold damage to !spells! and attacks." So yeah, Herald of Ice is counterproductive. |

" HoI applies to the initial hit and then your CoC rolls afterwards. HoI is counterproductive for most builds but it works great in CoC builds because of that interaction. Every Saturday = National Booze n Poe Day

Yes, Herald of Ice will add Cold Damage to your Discharge, but your Discharge still mainly deals Fire + Lightning Damage, and it's by far the most important part of your setup. It's a solid option, but you can also just get +Cold Damage from gear soooo whatevs :P
Ice Nova and Discharge are separate, so you will get solid synergy between those two. They won't alternate perfectly, but on average it's a bonus. |

I also have Added Cold Damage to Attacks. CoC - Ice Nova - Discharge is the order. Should i get rid of the Added Cold Damage on my gear or not? Man, this is so complicated xD

Cold Damage on your Attacks will guarantee that Discharge, the most important Spell, hits against reduced Fire and Lightning Resistances. It also guarantees that Ice Nova hits against increased Resistances, but whatever it's not really there for massive DPS anyways.
