Friend Keys

With the fairly slow pace that the keys are going out. Just curious if Friend keys might become an option as time goes on.

Games such as this are much more enjoyable playing online. Most people probably have friends that want to join with them rather then grouping up with randoms right away.

I know myself and about 5 others in my vent are all waiting and hoping. The game looks great and i hope it does well!

+1 I think even just 1 friend key would be great to have.

This would give beta users the ability to have a friend to play with and will help with sustainability of the players play time and avoid wasting keys.

they also need stalker keys people who stalk there page all day they give a key =(

If they'll allow friend invites it probably won't be for a while. They need to be confident with the server-stability first.

A friend key wouldn't be too bad of an Idea, also they should put analitics on there website that way they can see who is logging in/ spending the most time on their site and give that acc a beta key.

I think 1 key each person would be fine, however, any more then that and it would be unfair to people that have been waiting for their keys as well.

I've seen people beg and beg for beta keys only to try it once and never play again because they didn't like the game or it's specific genre.

That being said a friend key could be given out after the original keyholder has been on the server for a period of time and has shown an honest interest in the game.

i agree friend key would be nice just like real life its good to have a friend around in 2 player games or just going to the movies its a good chance to talk about the game and tell others and spred the word so i hope they do that be nice to have a friend or my wife she could try it out tell people at her work or something :P ya good idea

I remember Chris saying somewhere, something to the effect that they want to give the ability for beta testers to invite friends, but if this ability is abused then it can and will be taken away.

I doubt they'd do so at this point in time since there's already such a heavy influx of players hammering away at their servers, but in the foreseeable future they're likely to allow it.

I think I read somewhere that they'll be giving something of the sort after a few weeks in the beta. Cant remember clearly.
