Sucking & Punching - The RF Mjölner Vacuum Cleaner [vid update]

Hey guys this is TheVoid, I want to share with you a build I came up with while grinding and toying around on the new Tempest League. I call the build "The Sucking and Punching RFM Vacuum Cleaner", or short RFM Vac. ***It's not the most effective way to use a Mjölner but a hell of a lot of fun and perfoms great in party play through grouping up and binding hords of mobs without dropping everyone's frames*** The build is "affordable" with a total investment of 13-15ex for your starter gear. You can start out with RF till you can afford the final piece of gear, Mr. Mjölner. Key is to stack enough Knockback chance to be able to drag mobs behind you with cyclone. While punching them in the face they will get shocked from Nova and Ballz while they also get soaked into your RF. I currently sit on 91% KN chance with my "Ballz" and Nova with supp gem and Jewels.

Gear
Mjölner = 9-10ex Shield = 10-15c Gloves = 10-15c Jewellry = ~10c each Belt = 15-20c Helmet = 20c Boots = 6c Jewells = ~5-10c each Chest = 2c Total= Mjöner + 108 to 138c The gear is by far not optimised. Getting spell crit for freez with call of the brotherhood is probably the next step or applying blind and stacking more block chance for a cheap survivability solution. Getting a Coil and/or Taste of Hate will greatly improve your survivability.

With this setup I had the most fun.
All u need is a 4L Cyclone - Fortify - Curse on Hit - Ele Weakness (5L = Knockback, 6L LgoH/ Blind/ dual curse) RF - Conc - iAoE - incBurn CWDT - dura - IC Auras - Determination - Purity of Fire Mjölner (most successful links) Ball Lightning - Shock Nova - Knockback Ball Lightning - Shock Nova - Lighning Penetration Swap out Shock Nova for Storm Call if you have to face a very tanky boss with little to no mobs around OR make anothter 4L with Molten Strike> Multistrike> GMP> Faster Attacks
Discharge Variation
This is for everyone who loves to blow things up (especially the sound of it ^^) Upfront, this is more powerfull then the Shock Nova setup but not the way I like to play
Cheap Setup
- You only need a Romira's Banquet and 5 Power charges You may also have to get some more Int from the tree due to the lack of int on your gear. I'm talking about cheap gear ofc ;)
Expensive Setup
- Romira's Banquet - Voll's Devotion - Kingsguard You aim for 5 Power and 5 Endu charges. As long as you are able to hit something it should be very very hard to die for you now (see Kingsguard-Discharge-Voll's). You will generate at least 1-2K life every secound on a single target and "infinity" life on groups (this is my estimation for cyclone).
Gems
Discharge - Ball Lightning - Knockback/Lighting Pen RF setup Immortal Call setup (Moltenstrike - GMP - Multistrike - Faster Attacks for super tanky bosses) Purity of fire - Determination - Leapslam - Faster Attacks Why BL over Arc? If you run the knockback setup it's a no-brainer. Further, I prefer BL over Arc for single target, especially for bosses. It will generate way more power charges for you. If you want to run the Molten Strike as Boss setup, feel free to replace Arc for them Ballz.
Pro's & Con's
Pro: - it's hilarious! - fast clear speed - easy to group up mobs - relatively cheap starter setup (except for Mr. Mjölner) - pretty tanky - did I mention that it's hilarious to play? - you can start farming maps as RF build till you can afford Mr. M without the need to respecc Contra: - very very hart hitting mobs/bosses can be scarry because of the soak (Voll, blue packs of Colossal Vaal Fallen) - can lack of single target dmg for bosses with little to non mobs around (need to swap Storm Call for Shock Nova OR you make another 4L set with Molten Strike> Multistrike> GMP> Faster Attacks) - for maps, basicly most downsides from RF builds (half regen, shocking ground etc) I will update the thread soon. Cool build but seems sketch against big hitters, they continue their attack animation and hit you in the face.

You need crit freeze or they will auto on you for huge dmg.
