Physical to lightning for Raise Zombies? Or no good?
Hi all
So with the Reverent being a decent spectre im wondering should i change up my raise zombie links? Im running conductivity as one of my curses so this is why i wanted to ask, would a 20/20 phys to light support gem be worth it? With my build the only gem i could toss would be fortify which gives my zombies 44% melee damage and great D.R Now, would conductivity and the lightning damage of wraith greatly improve my zombies DPS in conjunction with phys to light? If i quality it at level 20 it gets 10% increases physical damage and 10% increased lightning damage... this sounds good to me lol but please i need peoples feedback on this one! Thanks! Definitions:

Zombies do too much damage per hit to benefit much from wrath, but if you use conductivity physical to lightning is a decent idea. You could also use a non-lightning spell to inflict curses with CoH and trigger equilibrium at the same time.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

firestorm + increase aoe + curse on hit + conductivity
with the ee keystone i went through all the spells in the game and it seems firestorm has the best coverage. what do you think? |

I agree this does have the best coverage and probably the best choice however, i prefer magma orb just because i can pin point where i drop the spell and it also bonces and does AOE so pretty good coverage too.
Can anyone comment on the 10% phys damage to the phys to melee gem? Is that a decent buff to zombies physical? Compared to 44% melee damage increase i guess. I rolled 2 reds a blue and a green on a int helm and i don't want to try again because i got lucky on my roll. I also use Bone offereing because i use multistrike with a 20/20 faster attacks gem so my APS is high enough and i don't need flesh offering, this is why i think i can drop fortifty if phys to light is a decent buff. Thanks again for the feedback already raics and kompaniet. Definitions:

" If i were you id take another curse and drop the AOE support gem. 2 curse with curse on hit is amazing, if you quality it at 20 its 10% buff to both curses, well worth it i think. IF you use revs use temp chains otherwise id recommend enfeeble. Both brilliant with quality. Definitions:

Also, if you're going to be using curses seriously you will want to pick up the Scrabbling Runes cluster next to the Scion start. It's amazeballs with 20q curse-on-hit. Kind of overkill for regular mobs, but getting 30-40% curse penetration really helps against those map bosses.
edit--my suggestion for the link is to stick with one curse on the link, and try to get eleweakness on hit corrupted gloves. IGN: Ikimashouka, Tsukiyattekudasai, DontCallMeMrFroyo Last edited by gilrad#6851 on Aug 1, 2015, 8:34:48 AM

" i tried it, not as good like hatred alone having added lighting, phys light, wrath aura still does not even match up to hatred sorry bud :) you plan on trying to beat out hatred, i advise 6-link zombie gems = zombie, empower, multi, ele weapon, phys lighting, added lighting you can play around with more melee gem and minion damage, but its going be headache so do enjoy the theory crafting only mother fuckers got balls of steal to make it work so tell me when you reach it to level 82 map and your build is successful i will copy you like mother fucker be our savior god damn supporter your the one save us. but serious just reroll srs, i give away 5 srs staffs to peeps. so dance forever you cry and other person, that can't handle the volume than turn up the bass and fail. wraeclast has no pity for your crys unless you don't feed it money LOL wraeclast will be crying for money us this Last edited by Heroxsolbadguy#5368 on Aug 1, 2015, 9:04:03 AM

" AFAIK, Weapon Elemental Damage (I guess thats what you mean by "ele weapon") doesnt work on minions, because they dont use weapons (with the exception of Animate Weapon/Guardian, obviously). Last edited by Ratnyd#4713 on Aug 1, 2015, 10:01:19 AM

" agree. 2 curses would be better. " do you mean skittering runes? 15% increased effect of curses. good idea with the eleweakness on hit gloves. that's actually realistic to craft with some determination. Last edited by kompaniet#2874 on Aug 1, 2015, 12:50:28 PM

Yeah skittering runes. That whole cluster combined with 20q curse-on-hit makes your curses pack quite the punch. I've been using that combo with Enfeeble and anything without curse resistance is an absolute joke (from rogue exiles all the way to Beyond bosses!). This is my setup FYI:
If you can get the dual curse cluster on the tree and skittering runes, you could get up to 40% increased effect. If you dual curse resist reduction, non-bosses are going to be taking insane levels of extra damage. Then when you enter a boss room just swap out (or use a different link) something defensive like temp chains enfeeble. IGN: Ikimashouka, Tsukiyattekudasai, DontCallMeMrFroyo
