Why do I lag everytime I load a Youtube video or watch Twitch

I have been playing for a long time and I haven't had any issues watching youtube or Twitch on my other screen while playing. I didn't have this problem during Beta in Awakening either, so something must have changed.

Does anyone have any idea what it might be?

Why? Because it causes link congestion and in turn bubbles in serialization for game traffic which manifests as increased end-to-end latency.

Since this is downstream traffic, tricks such as QoS (see your router manual) are of limited use however you still should benefit if your router supports shaping traffic (in the case of YouTube, that would be port 80)

Have you been using the same synchronization model this whole time? ("Lockstep" or "Predictive")
