Iron Grip + Projectile Spells

Will getting the Iron Grip talent effectively add spell damage to spells like Freezing Pulse, or will it only effect physical projectile damage?
Hmm good question, Freezing Pulse is a projectile as well, but it is a spell attack so i'm not sure.
But there is another way for this, u might want to get the support gem Iron Will for your Freezing Pulse.
It gives a nice dps increase at a cost of cast speed (no extra mana cost) and with more lvl's the cast speed nerf gets more diminished:

Thanks the for the input. This leaves me with another question now.

In the event that the Iron Grip talent won't add damage to a projectile spell like Freezing Pulse, how about this:
#1: If I link the Iron Will support gem to Freezing Pulse, will it add the spell damage even though it's a projectile spell?
If #1 is a no, then #2: If I get the Iron Grip talent and then link Iron Will to Freezing Pulse, will it add the spell damage then?
Iron Grip only applies to projectile attacks, while Iron Will applies to all spells (not just projectile spells).

In the case of Freezing Pulse, Iron Grip will not apply because it is a spell (not an attack, as it is a separate skill category) but Iron Will will.

Okay, so I won't need the Iron Grip talent and Iron Will, I'll just need Iron Will?

Yes, as Iron Grip in either form won't affect spells.

Thanks. While you're still around I might as well throw something else at you, as you seem to know what you're talking about: Does Point Blank apply to projectile spells?
As it says in its keystone passive and support gem descriptions, Point Blank only affects projectile attacks, just like Iron Grip. The descriptions of all modifiers mean exactly what they describe, so just make sure you knows the semantics and terminology of the game and refer to them when you have trouble understanding how things work.
