Why are you the only one reading "Chaos Damage must hit Energy Shield" when that is not what it says? I'm sure a dev will waste time answering an obvious question, beacause that's the kind of people they are. Shavs only makes Chaos damage not bypass ES if it would hit it - meaning it behaves like all other damage. EB moves you ES to protect your mana, not your life, thus no damage has any opportunity to interact with your ES unless you redirect that damage to mana. It is working correctly and as worded. Chaos damage isn't bypassing your energy shield - if you use mind over matter and are hit for chaos damage, the damage to your mana will be intercepted by ES. If you have zero ES at the moment of hit, then of course it will be full damage. To life.. And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff.
