The non-intrusive basic [Loot Filter]

What's up everyone !

By now there are a lot of good lootfilters out there, but I found that many of them are or too extensive for the average player and not easily edited to your own liking. I don't like the colored backgrounds and bigger/smaller font sizes, it doesn't fit in my game experience. So only text color and borders are left and that's what I've used in this filter. And that's all you need to see everything worth picking up.

I've played with my own filter for week now and I feel happy with it so it's time to share, maybe someone will find it suitable ;)

So what does this thing show ?

- Items for the chromatic orb recipe (purple), 3 and 4 space items have a border, 6 and 8 space ones don't
- Rares in 3 itemlevel intervals : 1-59 (white border), 60-74 (usual), 75+ (yellow border)
- Different subtle colors for amulets, ring and belts in itemlevel intervals : 68-71 (white), 72-74 (light blue), 75+ (light pink)
- Gems, quality ones have a border (usual color)
- Jewels (green border)
- Utility flasks (grey border)
- Superior quality flasks, 15+ quality flasks have an orange border
- Hallowed, Sanctified, Divine and Eternal flasks, all life, mana and hybrid ones (normal colors)
- Uniques and currency (usual colors), borders for chaos orbs, regal orbs, GCP's and the very rare ones play a separate sound
- 6-socket items (orange border)
- 5-links and 6-links (green and green with border)
- Divination cards and non-unique maps have their own color and border (blue and light orange respectively).
- Talismans (red border)

I didn't have a white 6-link to show, and you will never believe this, the one map I did to make a screenshot dropped oen for me ... I'm not kidding, it's also my very first 6-link drop EVER. Sadly I was testing the filter for the last time in standard ... Ah well it felt good. My initial reaction was : what on earth is that green bordered... pretty hilarious !

This filter is ment for endgame, from the moment you don't want to see any 4 linked armor pieces and two handed weapons / 3 linked weapons and shields anymore. It's up to you when that point is, for a first character you will activate it a bit later than later toons.

So what to at lower levels? I've made 2 extra versions of this filter for lower levels :

The 'LetoMid' filter is for midgame leveling, it has the same functionality as the 'LetoEnd' one but it shows more items than can help you while leveling :
- White and magic bases with 3 links for one handed weapons and shields and 4 links for armor pieces and two handed items.
- All flasks

The 'LetoLow' filter is for early leveling and racing, it has the same functionality as the 'LetoEnd' one but it shows even more items than 'LetoMid' :
- All normal and magic items, including all flasks.

I know it's not ideal to change lootfilters a few times but it's the only way to keep it simple and accessible.

Feel free to edit parts to your liking, for example also hiding sanctified flasks if you never use those.

To install the lootfilters, save the text into a *.filter document and paste it in the Path of Exile folder under My Documents/My Games .

I want to say thanks to the author of the 'One filter to rule them all', that waqs the one I started using but I felt the need to make a more simplified one. I took some lines of that filter and pit it in this one.

If anyone has suggestions for changes or finds a problem, feel free to post them here!
