The fact that Path of Exile uses a smaller pool of item bases is probably the stem of this IMO. Look at the Stone Hammer\Rock Breaker\Gavel which is coincidentally the Mjolner\Cameria for the Gavel Base. But that's GGG's Design Choice.

Also if you take it as how not all uniques are created equally. Some are just there for vendor trash. Some are for very niche builds. And some are just their to make the rich richer. Even if you did get it you still had the option of vending it for some alchemy shards so I don't see the point of people complaining. The fact that said person who got the mjolner would probably just vaal it to make it useless also what annoys me on this problem. Every time I asked the people in global chat if they didn't want it I offered them an alchemy shard for example and left me silent says that even they still have it as of for some obscure build they also intend to do.

Just because you didn't get a Mjolner doesn't mean this item needs to be put down.

Found my first one a moment ago. I think I will actually use it and play a Glacial Hammer/Ice Crash char when I die with my current one.

This is really like Infernal Mantle. The item itself is actually quiet good, the only "problem" is that it shares a base with one of the most desired uniques in the game. But we all know by now that this does not mean that a Mjolner would have dropped if Cameria's Maul would not exist, so why bother at this point.

I have dropped 9 of these troll gavels in this warband league so far.

Also this thread is exactly what richjmoney wanted to see after item is implented to game..

I can easly tell you the reason behind richjmoney paid 1000$ for this process but it would make me go on probation so not gonna say it here as a psychologist
