I wouldn't suggest Chain, ever, for this build. EK clears packs VERY fast, it's the one really tough enemy that's a bit slower, and Chain makes those WORSE.

Not really, that one's useles if you're not going for Block (or at least ES). The ES is wasted, the Block is wasted... It's comparable to a 1c shield for this build.
You need GOOD Spell Damage + Life, and hopefully good Cast Speed. Also, the Mana Regen isn't quite optional when you're on a 6L.

I'd imagine that Short-range, Vaal Hasted, Flasked DPS to handle Reflect perfectly, with that 3K Life and no mitigation ;)

No faster projectiles, but no slower projectiles either. Flasked, but no vaal haste. 3 frenzy + 3 power charges (sustaned by tempest shield). And this char is low-life, with flask charges reduction, flask duration (ghudda style) so flasks are easy to keep 100% up. But yes, not my normal setup, I usually have faster proj + chain, added fire, empower, echo (GGGRRB shav).

Well, exciting new stuff this patch, what with the new aura (Warlord's Mark Aura!) and support gem :D

Should make this build so very much better!

Here's an idea.

Projectile Weakness Aura + Knockback gem = hillaroud knockback machine gun :)

Bet Scion area is getting nerfed to the ground though :)

We still need to see what the Scion Prestige Class has to offer, but so far, the Shadow Crit EK Assassin is looking at us.
