Desert Boss - Mirage of Bones is way too op

His HP is absurdly high, he makes like two clones a second, I've seen like 12 clones at once and his projectiles hit like a truck. Not a fun boss fight for a 68 map

That being said, is this boss WAY too op? No. Is he quite strong, and a challenge to beat? Definitely.

They said before the release that bosses in general were going to become harder to defeat. Now you're seeing it in action.

For me it was like a 4 min clear up until the fight. Id say it took a good 10 minutes to kill him. That's not fun. And I'm ok with harder bosses but they were also supposed to drop better stuff, which I haven't seen. Also, compared to other 68-70 map bosses it's like night and day.

I mean... my real issue with that boss is that i dont even know which one to attack... is there anything at all that help us differenciate a clone from the real boss? i find myseld hitting one guy for a solid 10 seconds and then *POOF* hes gone... just wasted those dps

thats what sucks the most to me. if there was a good way to differenciate clones from the real one i wouldn't i think that boss fight would be much better.
boss is to hard for a 68 map
Follow the teleport arrow to spot the real one, the rest of the mobs only shoot in 1 direction and not aiming at you at all, hope this info helps.

if you could easily tell the diffrence all the clones wouldn't have much of a point now would they.
this fight is all about tracking him. there are enough ways to see which one is the real 1

tells op the real 1:
-he moves
-he turns
-he only uses blink/and mirror arrow

also everytime he uses a skill theres only 2 options on where he is.

the fake ones all just stand still and shoot that black arrow

i honestly don't see the problem with him
esp seeing you can also dodge litteraly everything he throws at you.
I would say what should happen is make the clones pretty easy to kill, something like 5% of the bosses effective life.

ranged builds would 1 shot the clones then.

wich again defeats the entire purpose of the clones.

this fight is about tracking the boss while avoiding the clones

not about killing clones quicker then the boss can make them.
I'm not gonna say this boss is too hard.

What I'll say is that I'd rather that the entire rest of the map attack me at once, that I can't kill him (as a melee fighter) because, even when I know which one is the boss, he splits so fast I can't catch up to him, and that if I fought him I'd just die.

Is he "too hard"? I don't know. But to me, he's way harder than the entire rest of the map. Which is strange.

I mean, I'll just kill everything else, then leave. Nbd. It's strange though.

A boss being harder then rest of the map is fine.
As long the gap isn't to big, wich it isn't.

I did him with melee and he was fairly easy.
I was using cyclone tough, not sure how big the difference would be with a more static melee skill life frenzy or somthing.
