Hello,
Increases and Reductions to Energy Shield in Radius are Transformed to apply to Armour But with acrobatics the 50% less energy shield still persitant why ? This thread has been automatically archived. Replies are disabled.

The description pretty clearly does not mention "Less".

Acrobatics is 50% less ES and Armour, so either way you're losing half.

"Less" Is still a reduction in energy shield... there are no nodes that reduce energy shield except acrobatics to my knowledge. Either the jewel needs to be changed to say Increases only or Acro needs to be fixed to work with it. http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Energised_Armour is the jewel we are talking about here.
and to think I wasted the skill reset on my lvl 56 on this =/ I can see making this jewel wipe out the - to es as possibly being problematic from a balance perspective, but if you do it you are facing 0%armor, which is a rather large hit, and you will also lose the +es from the es/ev nodes nearby thanks to the large radius. I was really hoping to make a CI Acrobat build from this when I picked it up. I'd consider this bug still open until there is more clarification. It's still not a bug. The text in this game is precise for the purpose of avoiding confusion. Less and More are individual multipliers. Increased and Reduced are additive before becoming a multiplier. So, no, Less is not a reduction in game terminology. Less is a multiplier.
The wiki has the mechanics of how Less/More/Increased/Reduced work if you want to understand it better. There is a reason Acrobatics has such a huge drawback. Otherwise it'd be OP as hell. That doesn't change the fact that there are no nodes that "reduce" es. So the jewel description is done in a silly way that only creates confusion.

Also "Reductions" in the item description does not exclusively equal "reduced" or "less", which are separating additive and multiplicative modifiers. It isnt as if they are going to use the word "Lessenings" to describe "less" multipliers and "Reductions" to describe "reduced" multipliers...

" It pretty obviously explicitly refers to Reduced-type modifiers; this case is testament to that fact. Path of Exile is very exact about its wording. A Reduced-type modifier would be described as a reduction; it's the same word written differently. A Less-type modifier could be described as a reduction, except that term already means something else. Just because a modifier does not occur currently, does not mean it can never be available in the future. These Jewels are simply future-proofed. So what word would be used for describing "less" modifiers in this space? Not that any use exists yet, but I cant see anything other than "reductions" in that role. Decreases? Decimations? Attenuations?

How about "Less and More modifiers apply to x"? Not that impossible of a task should GGG need the mod.
