cannot unlink full linked items

Why GGG removed that without telling us??
I saw my 6l pass away while I was spamming fusings on it (2,7k atm)


I tried on a 4l too, just to be sure.. it has become unlinked

I hate this to. There should be dialog box popping after using fusing orb on 6L item. That way you can still unlink it (for whatever reason someone would do this), and you can be safe while spamming that precious fusings trying to 6l.

I believe it is an unintended bug?
There is notting more (POE world) horrible than spamming 2k fuses and seeing that 6Link pass by.

Wait, are we sure about this? Kinda wish I had a junk 6L around to try for confirmation that they reverted back to allowing you to blow a through a 6L...

Could unlink 4 links previously, but not 6 or 5 links. They may have changed that again at some point, but I remember when they first did it. I made a thread showing why it was bad on a 4L where you might run an aura + reduced mana on two sockets and blood magic gem + skill (enduring cry) on another two sockets, and the issued a quick update patch. I have been gone a while so maybe they changed it again and I am mistaken.

Last patchnotes _i remember_ was unlink block for 6l (5l?) and being able to unlink 4l + below.
If thy changed that, GGG should noted that in BIG HUGE COLORED BLINKING words. Else its smells like big player trolling.

I didn't know we could unlink 4l, but if it's true, I'd need to try to unlink a 6l..
and I won't do that :)

Is it possible to have an answer from a dev? pls

Can confirm the following:

-You could always unlink 4Ls (I did it many times intentionally, and indeed the desire for this is why you can do it)
-You can't reroll 6 sockets on this patch, because I accidentally spammed one too many jewellers on an item a couple of days ago and it left it at 6 and gave me the usual message.

I'm willing to risk one of my 6Ls to test this if you'd like, because it seems very unlikely to me that this has changed, and more likely that what you thought in that split second was a 6L actually wasn't.

For the good of the community, here is my 6L... ... I BELIEVE that when I try to fuse and it breaks, this will become unverified, but still show the original 6L. I do this to not be accused of trolling and to show (hopefully) it either IS or IS NOT an issue...
