PORTAL GEM: Useful for late-game farming??

A regular Portal gem is worth 3 GCP. One that has quality like mine will sell for each percentage value it has on it.

" Wrong, a portal gem of any quality is only worth what someone will pay for it. I highly doubt anyone who has ever even WATCHED someone play this game would give you 11 GCP for that. i too fas fo youuuuuuu

" Quality on a portal gem!!!?? I had to look on the wiki just to see if there was any difference and it says a top quality portal gem has 40% increased cast speed. Prob the most worthless thing ive ever heard. I wouldnt even pay a wisdom scroll extra for a %20 portal gem over the standard gem. |

I reckon the quality on it is still broken, so expect it to cast at the same rate.
And the usual quality of gems is on price is a full 5%-1gcp, unless they are sought after gems/supports, then its bid time and it can go higher. Overrated. Even if you put it in a secondary weapon slot (assuming you don't use it for anything else) and even at max quality it's still not worth it.

i LOVE my portal gem, i saved up 4 GCP and bought it at the start of the open beta and i've been happily using it ever since.
I'm a greedy person, and i usually didn't make portals out of principle because it was 'a waste' of a portal scroll. Now i portal ALL the time, i swear my portal usage has more than tripled since i got the gem. For me, it's very useful. Shoep - Default league Ranger
