Graceful assault passive

Is the investment into 10% chance for a 3 second onslaught worth it? Procs and temporary buffs are always fun, but this is PoE and we usually can't afford to spend points based on fun. Is it an efficient way of spending points for dps and ms? Has anyone tested it out? I'm really interested in any experience you guys have had with it!

If you're running an elemental attack build, that's an awesome cluster because there aren't many elemental bonuses in that part of the tree and those work with all damage types. With eva/damage bonuses it's pretty much tailor-made for a Dreamfeather build.

For a physical build it's merely an 'ok' cluster in raw power, but Onslaught is a nice candy on top so I'd pick Graceful Assault cluster over Deadly Dilettante, but not over something like Brutal Blade branch.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

I can clearly see your argumentation, but I believe that it would be almost impossible to use this Onslaught passive for some of the more dangerous enemies(like bosses and exiles), while it only helps us mainly for big groups of trash mobs which we already kill fast enough. Am I correct in assuming that this passive is OK if we want it for the fun of having a nice proc, but not that efficient when we need it the most?

Sure, you probably shouldn't count on having it active on bosses which don't summon a ton of adds. However, it should be on pretty much all the time during map clearing and we spend 99% of our map time doing that, I personally think it's very much worth it if you're good with the amount of damage it grants. If it offered some crap stats in low amounts alongside onslaught proc it would be a different story, but unspecified melee damage is good for most close quarters builds out there.

Isn't it ATTACK damage? I was thinking of using it on my Spectral Throw character, but it would be a non-issue for me if it doesn't actually work with projectiles.

Yes, but minor nodes before it are 'melee', and wasting one more point on evasion if you reach it the other way around kinda sucks. If you use ST the cluster loses a bit of its appeal.

Evasion is a nice stat :) Especially when we have 20% less evasion against melee attacks.

I've decided to take 2x One handed attack speed + Aspect of the Panther instead of this cluster. ST's damage still sucks though... :D
