Australian Servers PLEASE will pay big bucks

Apologies in advance i'm sure there's probably 1000 posts on this

OK so like every other aussie gamer who loves online games but gets rammed in the pipe hole because every online game doesn't have aussie servers and yes it makes a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE. Reason being Telstra are a bunch of money hungry assholes who charge a bumassload of cash.

Any who i would like to suggest if we got some kind of list going that would see how many aussies would be interested in paying to help rent the servers and support PoE. I am willing to pay $10-$20 a month i know that's not much but with enough people interested we could get something going.

would appreciate some feedback on this

Cheers

Also keep the trolling to a minimum please and if you are not aussie don't bother posting unless you have some positive feedback.

And for the People who created this game you are amazing one of the best RPGs i have played so many different things you can do to one class it is what any type of game like this needed
First: You are aware that the Devs are from NZ? So, for once, you're actually close(ish) to the source :P

Second: I believe most of the servers are located in Singapore, the reason being a matter of money. Renting servers in NZ would cost 200 times more, or so I heard. I suspect the same would be true for Australia.

First:
yes you are correct the game was created in NZ this has what effect on ping for aussies and NZ i have a mate that lives 100 meters from the place it was made and he has worse ping then me...

Second:
read the post again
I have no sympathy for you, friggen Aussies living in the best place in the world, sunshine, Great Barrier Reef, sexy woman with sexy accents, dingos and kangaroos, Steve Irwin's Australia zoo.

While I sit in 3 feet of snow 8 months of the year. F U bro I hope you get 20 000 ping.

Lol sarcasm aside great idea I know Australians really suffer with online games and I hope if and when this game sky rockets in popularity and money start flooding in, I hope they get you guys your own servers :)

I'm not sure if that broken cable has been fixed yet, but I'm still getting a ping of 250-350 on the Singapore server; and that's with a 30Mbps fiber optic connection. God help anyone with less than that, I can only play for 5 mins before the terrible lag shits me off and I alf-f4 in frustration.
There will be Australian servers... in my dreams. I'd easily contribute $20 a month for an Australian server, but that'll never happen. The best bet we have is the Singapore server... but of course the line from Perth to Singapore was severed, and the ETA on the fix is the 19th. I think it was initially meant to be fixed on the 11th, but was delayed. I hope it doesn't get delayed again, I've been itching to play some hardcore mode but no way that's happening with a 300 ping.
