ranger or scion for ele split arrow (2.0)

greetings guys/girls,
i wanted to make myself a ranger ele. split arrow build for awakening release, but since jewels have so much to offer maybe scion would be a better choice i made myself 2 skilltree builds. Maybe someone with experience, can tell me what to change and hat class is better in late game. Btw I plan to reserve 100% of my mana and use bloodmagic on softcore... Ranger:
