[2.0 Tempest] Hybrid Hidden Potential Arcer

Theory
Hello. This build will be to running hidden potential jewel, with arc, as a hybrid. This seems like It would work out since you can run Arc, with pretty good success, on crap gear.

The idea behind the build is to have every piece of gear magic (blue) and the base be ES with life and 1 resist rolled each piece. This should work out to be able to max out your resist, and get a good chunk of ES and life, as well as getting 20-25% increased damage per piece. (ideally, you would want all magic, but 5+ would still be a considerable amount of damage)

The advantages of running all/near all magic (blue) gear is pretty awesome in a new league. For example, it is hard to obtain a decently rolled chest, with +1 to gems corrupted on it, right? Not if can Vaal every piece of Es base, life+resist rolled chest armor you find, granting you access to an easy +1 to all gems, which is great for Arc builds.

You may need 1 or 2 pieces/uniques to cap out resists. For example: a Life/Es base belt, rolled with tri-resist and life/es would be worth losing 20-25% damage for if the EHP and resists are needed.

Tree
Level 90

Grab all the ES/life nodes first, and worry about the damage ones later. Grabbing Herald of Thunder and Celestial Judgement/punishment will be big damage boosts though, so I would aim for those first.

I would say grind up to level 75 or 80 in Aqueducts before doing maps. This seems to be a trend in beta and a safe way to get the gear you need to do some maps without the risk of dying.

You can level up Lightning Tendrils / Storm Call / Flameblast. Whichever you like the most. Arc does not get too strong until later on in the levels.

Gear

(Try and keep as many magic items as possible to further abuse Hidden Potential.)

I would suggest a Wand + Shield, but you can go dual wand if you feel like you need the extra DPS (make sure the wands are the 20% implicit spell damage ones)

Vaal Regalia with 90+ life and one 40+ resist (corrupt with +1 gems when able)

Sorcerer Gloves with 90+ life and one 40+ resist

Sorcerer Boots with 90+ life and one 40+ resist

Hubris Circlet with 90+ life and one 40+ resist

Use two-stone rings to help round out your resists, since you will have trouble capping them all. Use an Onyx or appropriate attribute amulet if you need stats for a certain gem. Make sure that either Energy Shield or Life is on each piece though.

You can use a Le Huep of All to help balance out all your resists, since it does increase damage itself, you will not be losing much dps - and since you are gaining both Str and Int you do gain some EHP through the ring. Use two if your resists are in dire need.
