flame totem, projectile mod -> iron grip?

Noticed flame totem has projectile mod.

So will iron grip work?

trying to get the logic

you cast flame totem,
it then casts projectiles - or does it fire them?


I guess if it doesnt work that means difference between projectile casts and projectile attacks?

Of course there is one, flame totem uses a projectile spell, not a projectile attack, so iron grip or point blank won't work. If you used a ranged attack totem with some bow skill, it would work.
