Permanent leaques that would reset every X Months.

Hello. I have had this in my mind and wanted to share it with you.

You know the feeling when new Temp. leaques are behind the corner and you cant wait to start fresh with all the challenges that wait for you?

How about starting fresh in a Permanent Standard/Hardcore leaque without any special mods and redicilous economy filled with mirrored items and legacy uniques that new ppl cant afford?

It would be awesome if there were Standard and Hardcore leaque like the current permanent leagues, but with a twist: They would reset every X months and all characters and items would be completely wiped?

for some ppl this might sound like "oh hell no", but no one forces you to play the leaque aight? :)

Thoughts?

I think having resets that often would probably lead to player burnout, though. Also, something about splitting the playerbase even more, between the perma leagues, the reset leagues and the challenge leagues

You already have long term leagues that reset...

permanent kinda excludes resets

If it resets periodically, it's not permanent. Think about what you are asking for here...

Thats the way d2 have surivived over the decade. But maybe to much to ask for.

So you're asking for no mod void races (with no prizes right?) that last indefinitely until new leagues start?

I want an HC league where my character isn't removed from the league when he dies.

I want another Ambush temp league that isn't permanent but never ends.
