Doryani's Fist - Atziri drop only?? Can a Dev clarify this?

It's a little confusing - It would be the only "doryani" item that is attainable outside of Atziri.

And worst change is putting almost all bosses in new version of maps into fucking small areas, where you can't kite well or dodge stuff. What a terrible idiot invented that I want say to him: dude flick you, seriously flick you very much.

" Well, wait... I don't know much about the PoE lore BUT could it be that Dominus IS Doryani?! I mean the gloves look exactly like the ones from Dominus + it also would kinda explain why he turns into this gigantic beast after you defeated his 1st form. We also do see the very same minions from the atziri battle while fighting Dominus & Piety... May they be somehow related to the Vaal and / or were trying to bring back Atziri in the first place? Trying to satisfy the whole PoE community is like telling a nymphomaniac to only have sex once in a week.

well, theres no official run down of what exactly is going on, only what we know pieced together from whats said in the game, so theres no way to say for sure. It would seem unlikely though.
Atziri was queen of the Vaal and doryani some kind of very high ranking figure in the Vaal empire. But the Vaal are very old, the Vaal civilization fell to some kind of cataclysm and theres literally just ancient ruins, like us looking at Egyptian ruins and guessing what exactly they were about. Long after the Vaal came the eternal empire which was a completely different civilization built on the ancient ruins of the Vaal. The empire had emperors, obviously, a long line of them, and there were other posts like "high templar" which were filled over the generations by people like Voll. I think the last proper emperor was Chitus, and his sorcerer/mad scientist/Doryani type underling was Malachai who created the map device thing we use to travel into dreams or something, he was playing with the same powers that Doryani was involved with. I think then the high templar Voll from the island of Oriath overthrew Chitus because of he and Malachais use of unholy thaumaturgy (which is basically magic i think, it comes from a greek term I believe) took control of the eternal empire and spared Malachai who promised to end the use of magic forever through experiments he was doing in the solaris/lunaris temples or whatever. And then something unknown triggered a second calaclysm just like the one that wiped out the ancient Vaal civilization, which completely destroyed the eternal empire and the continent of Wreaclast. and thats where the game picks up, the last properly civilized place left is the island of Oriath off the coast of Wreaclast where the new high templar Dominus and we come from. He has exiled us from Oriath to the destroyed continent of Wraeclast where we fight through the ashes of the eternal empire trying to take revenge on Dominus while him and Piety also comb through the remains trying to discover what Malachai had been up to. Presumably whatever Malachai was up to was along the same lines as what Doryani was doing and what Dominus and Piety are now trying to do. My impression, and we dont know anything for sure so its just a guess based on the scraps of info, is that they were trying to contact God, to somehow bridge the gap to Heaven if you like, to enter into Gods world or become gods themselves, the vesstles of God maybe, something like this. But the god they awoke was a horror, some sort of creature of pure nightmare an when they bridged the gap between their reality and this terrifying dream realm it sort of broke down the structure of reality and set the nightmare lose to twist and distort the world in some kind of apocalyptic event that obliterated everything. so Dominus and Doryani are 2 characters separated by a few 1000 years and a few completely different civilizations, so personally I dont think theyre the same person but they were probably trying to do the same thing which is commune with the beast that we are descending into the depths of wraeclast to attempt to face down in act4. This is why you have atziri and doryani uniques in the game outside of the atziri fight, the vaal is an old civilization that the enternal empire was built on top of and we are wondering around in the ruins of both empires, so Vaal artifacts have been found and circulated for 100s, maybe over 1000 years prior to the current time of the game.
