Chaos/Regal Orb Vendor Recipes
Hi, I was wondering if anyone still does the Chaos orb vendor recipe where you vendor a full set of ilvl 60-74 gear for a Chaos orb? And if you do, do you use the scraps on the gear for the for the 20% quality and extra Chaos orb?
I've only lately cared enough to do the 20% quality ilvl 75+ Regal orb vendor recipe but having a new character run low level maps makes me wonder if keeping the ilvl 60-74 rares is worth it and if I should spend the scraps/whetstones on it for an extra Chaos. |

onve I've leveled up to about 75/80 and am doing 70+ maps
I find myself having pretty good iir by then, like 100-150 or so while not screwing up my attack power. once this situation gets rolling I get a lot of rare drops and dedicate a tab or two to unid rares that I dont want to ID for gear. the second tab I'll put quality gear, and keep unid jewlery around spare in order to support using it... same with scraps. what average quality I go for with saved gear is about 13-15% on all items, this means like 17% armor, 12% gloves, 14% boots and 14% helm, I'd use scraps to bring em to 20%. depends if you are low on scraps. I also do the opposite, and ID items in my UNID tab when I am using jewlery thats ID'd... I often am tempted to ID perfect prefix rings and amulets... if they suck, I chaos vendor ID'd if they dont suck? well thats simply the best outcome isnt it? another concern I have, I prefer to 6l a white armor, rather than attempt a unique or rare. SO... I really really really stockpile and use armorers for my linking process. I would be saving most of them before getting a 6l. |

I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

Whether it's for crafting or trading, both recipes are useful.
chaos recipe is extremely easy to complete (repeatedly) and chaos orbs are more preferred than regal orbs when it comes to trading. |
