Aiming
The aiming on the enemy is a bit non-responding, like clicking around the target without triggering the attack: only if you click exactly on the target the attack or the spell is delivered, sometimes you just miss and move on.
I click on the enemy, but the character still moves instead of attacking, like chasing the enemy. I hope this explains better. Attacking an enmey should be less sensitive to the location you click on; maybe extendending the hit area on an enemy should do the work. This thread has been automatically archived. I think what you need is shift. With shift, you attack from where you are without moving.

I mean in melee combat too. Sometimes you click on an enemy but you fail, the attack doesn't trigger at all, and the character moves towards the target or around it. This particulary happens when you use normal attack instead of special skill.

Hold Shift, click for name-lock, release Shift. Your character will move to melee range and attack.

" Yeah and lets do this every time we have to swing the sword because mobs with speed are teleporting all over the place. OR... Make a nova witch like ev else and spam nova. SO much easier I am doing this now and its WAY easier! I actually put my cleave attack as "Q" just to help this. But teleporting mobs still make it difficult. Should attack in place no matter where enemy is. Holding right click should be like D2. Flicker strike on Right click helps too. CLICK AND HOLD BABY! OR.... make NOVA witch! IGN: YeahCrit

I personally wouldn't mind a system that toggles to the next enemy, I know this is throwing it more into the MMO style where clicking isn't as required for hits, but it would seem normal for melee to auto attack the same enemy until dead or told otherwise.
I do hate "slice slice, run past enemy, run past enemy again, slice, kill". |
