Left-handed keyboard setup?

Are there any other left handed gamers here? What do you do about most default keyboard input setups? I've learned to deal with even right-handed mice, and they actually feel normal to me after using them my entire life.

But most games, like Path of Exile have default keyboard setups that do a number on my fingers! They will consistently, like Path of Exile, use 1-5 and/or QWERTY as primary input options.

This causes me to awkwardly drape my hand over the keyboard, often adjusting the angle to make myself more comfortable in order to place my hands properly according to the inputs. This eventually strains my hands, and creates a slower reaction time because I'm not able to utilize fast twitch muscles in my fingers as effectively due to awkward placement.

So, are there any left-handed gamers in the house who have their own solutions for this? I messed around with the inputs shortly last night, but a lot of the combinations I tried required replacing a vast number of the logical inputs for things such as the Inventory or World Map. So, I eventually reverted to the default inputs for the time being. But, I'm trying to step up my game and become a better player - so I'm looking for some solutions, particularly for Path of Exile.

TL;DR - Left-handed gamers, what are your keyboard input setups?

A friend of mine turns his keyboard upside down*. God knows how he trained his brain to manage it, but it seems pretty effective for him. For WASD games he just changes the Up/Down/Left/Right and leaves it at that. Its kind of creepy to watch.

Obviously not a viable option for a laptop, though.

*Rotates his keyboard through the horizontal plane 180 degrees, not the vertical plane. That would be stupid.

Massive thanks to GGG for producing such a fun and engaging game, it has taken up faaaaaaar too much of my life over the last 5 years.

Best of luck in the future!

I generally use the number pad on the side of the keyboard (or an external one).

For PoE I use 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on the num pad for skills and 6, 7, 8, 9, + for flasks.

For LoL I use 1 for Q, 2 for W, 3 for E, 0 for R, 4 for D, 6 for F, and 5 for item slot 1 (and 7, 8, 9 if I have more than 1 item that can be activated).

For mouse I use a Razer Naga left handed edition.

Due to work I didn't get any time off last weekend, I'll be working on it this evening and stuff should be up at some point during this weekend ;)
I have a keyboard with very small arrow keys under shift, so i used to use those, but lately I have started just moving my keyboard over to the right 6 inches. Works fine. As opposed to hitting space with my thumb, i just use the first knuckle of my pinky, which actually gives it a lot of work to do, going through t f g and space for games like Dota 2. Mirroring everything onto o k l ; can work well too, but I don't like it.
I just always used the mouse with my right hand. Guess I lucked out by getting used to it when I was younger.
I play with a normal keyboard. Why? Its easy to get used to.
