CPU temperatures.

Hi all.-
I just finished building a new pc yesterday. It has an I7-4790k CPU and I bought a CM Hyper 212 EVO cooler for it. My GPU is an Asus GTX970.
Using CoreTemp I had a max temperature of around 58-59 degrees celcius on all cores after a day of playing path of exile.
I did have some issues mounting the cooler, as in it took me three tries to get it neatly on and I was forced to redo the thermal paste a little.
I was just wondering if these temperatures are normal for poe as it doesn't seem like such an intensive game, but what do I know.
I play it on max graphics wise and as far as I know my airflow in the case is pretty good.
Just trying to establish a baseline for what kind of temperatures I'm supposed to expect in poe as that's all I play pretty much recently :)

Thanks in advance for your comments and replies.
Totally normal temperatures especially for an intel processor, shouldn't have anything to worry about also if you want lower temps and you are not limiting your fps, limit your fps to 60/100/120 or vsync.
Thanks for your reply. I'm actually using Vsync in-game but I have my doubts if it is actually working as it should.
When I press F1 in-game it still shows the FPS going above 60 regularly. It seems the FPS is erratic judging from the graph.

Try using the software that came with your GPU driver, usually has options somewhere to set up 'profiles' for certain games. You can use this to limit your FPS to 60 as an alternative if vsync isn't really doing the trick (which it should be regardless).
V-sync would not really reduce tems on the CPU, it would for the GFX card and by proxy make the internal case temp drop making the CPU slightly cooler.

59c is OK.

Personaly i've an i5 3470 but i use a closed loop liquid cooler and it's 50c atm will get a bit hotter once summer kicks in.
