I dont think the Red Mana change helped Shavs at all either! since most everyone lost minimum 1 aura i would say Shavs builds ended up loseing possibly 2 auras which is one of the main points of the shavs!
The first thing that come to mind when i read the Red Mana change was how it was gonna directly effect Shavs builds and all the auras it runs! Non the less its still going to be a very strong chest especially because of the Red Mana change since it will still be able to stack way more auras than any other build without it! And the Blood Rage change would probably be the biggest nerf to LL builds since that could get you insane amounts of APS!

Well loseing 2 auras because of a change that directly effects a high end item you use for that reason is going to cause a change! Ofcourse it isnt game breaking but to someone who spent 100+Ex on one yeah these changes mean quite a bit and loseing 2 auras makes the chest less disirable! and certainly no longer worth the price it is right now or has been in the past! I mean you also have to keep in mind that the Shavs isnt the ONLY item you need to make a super strong build its just one major piece! you still need lots of expensive ES gear to go with it make it the most effective!
Thats why people like me see no point in its priceing because once i buy all the ES gear to go with it i can just go CI and have nearly as strong a build without some auras and even more ES!

Actually what this all means to people like ME anyway who dont have a shavs because even with what it has to offer right now the price just doesnt match it for me anyways! NOW with these changes yes people who runs shavs now will feel quite a bit less powerful thus why the price is dropping but it also means is people like myself will most likly end up being able to actually afford one now especially since its been such a powerful chest for so long that now theres an over saturation of them in the game so the price should get alot more reasonable now!

I mean you only have to go look up a shavs on poe.trade to see what i mean!
Theres one dude that has atleast 25-30 legacy shavs and around 30-40 non legacy shavs ALL 6L!
And thats only one dude... so yeah even without these changes the price of a shavs is enevadably going to go down at some point this change is only gonna speed up that process! Its a good thing in that respect! and it helps balance the chest without having to do anything to the chest and making more legacy items so im all for it!

shav prices started going down as soon as greed's embrace was released and all the high end mf players realized goldwyrm/greed embrace was more optimal than wondertrap/shavs.

which explains the initial price drop, everything after that i assume is just market forces at work: slightly increased supply, slightly decreased demand, and a bunch of market speculators running around doing what they do best.


(and of course everything has dropped in price in the past couple months because value of ex has gone up, both relative to currencies and gear (div/eternal/mirror excluded)
almost like some very wealthy ppl are saving up for some crafting once 2.0 hits.)

What i dont understand is why ALL 6L chests have went down in price across the board it seems?
And im not just talking about COD... im talking about Carcuss, Belly, Voll's, all 6LS of chests seem to be a bit cheaper than they were say a month or 2 ago! I mean i heard a dude say he bought a 6L COD for like 8- or 10 Ex i mean the price on all 6L chests seems to be going down for some reason is what i dont understand! you can find any of the above mentioned chests for under 20Ex now! When a month ago all of them was 25-30Ex!

Only thing i can come up with on that was GGG confirming that Quality on things make them easier to link! But still its a big roll of the dice to get the 6L REALLY cheap doing it yourself!
But like i said before the only thing i can come up with for this is more people must be linking items now so theres way more 6Ls out there available of any given chest people use!
Thus driving down the price because more people have them for sale naturally as well!

And ive also noticed the price of Ex across the board has gone up (Or Down) it seems as well!
Fuse used to be 40-42:1Ex now its closer to 50:1Ex! Chaos was 35ish:1Ex now im seeing people offering 42-45Chaos per Ex! i mean maybe this is also effecting the price of 6Ls as well!

Thats pretty amazing if the price of Ex changing just that little bit is whats effecting the price of 6Ls that much in the end! I mean i guess it makes sense if the price of a dollar changes just a little bit then $100 items are going to change a bit more as a result is guess is whats happening here!

I think the bigger issue is, they just lost 2 aura's 1 patch before. It adds up in the end. I don't understand why going LL, wich is expensive and takes alot of effort, can't be powerful. Judging the bitterness in your tone of writing however says alot.... :)
