with buffed up vaal haste and haste, 10% ias equal about 5% more damage (without multistrike). another 11 from the culling, and supposed you have 90 increased from the tree, 15 from minion damage and 10 from melee physical, 60%id from cullinggem equals about 27% more damage (note that if you have jewels with icreased minion damage, this will be less effective, down to about 19% more if you get 90%id from jewels on top). so all in all about 48% more, and 10% extra cast speed on top.
compared to multistrike, which is a 1.95*0.7 => 36% more damage multiplier, but for 1.8 mana cost, this seems op.

not only does it give more damage than multistrike, culling strike also makes reaching enough mana regen trivial. wow.

if you have an empower lvl4, its still the best dps boost in a +2+1 staff. (if the numbers are still correct on the spreadsheet).

so all in all we have srs, echo, minion damage, empower4,culling and as a 6th either splash or melee physical, depending if you need single target or aoe.

how does srs feel without multistrike? has anyone tried?
in mapping it might be different; often times srs two or threeshot mobs, so the culling range might not be used efficiently - ms might bring a smoother mapping experience from my feeling.

dynamo might not be needed if one uses culling instead of multistrike.
strength is a bigger problem than before, 111 is needed, only 20 from the tree now , mainly because potency of will was moved.

culling strike is just bad right now, faster attacks works better

Also I heard arctic armor no longer depend on mana regen but its now reserve 25% of mana like heralds ....

Good thing we dont need so much mana regen on gear now, bad thing, we lost its defence.

Should be easyer to gear up now.

This tree looks solid. I'll add it to OP.

Yeah the efficiency of culling for its mana multiplier is funny. I also think it will make it through to 2.0 unchanged because most builds don't get as much out of it as we do.

The three points for Lord of the dead - minion damage - elemental dominion can be omitted/taken as the last points if one finds decent jewels, i.e. one with 15%minion damage and another useful stat like cast speed or ES.
I also start to doubt about the effectiveness of death attunement - 8% ias worth the point?


on a side note: actually culling strike also will be very interesting for poison arrow! 60% increased damage is a really good option and can be used instead of the pierce+drillneck combo (which will give about 90%increased if you dont take extra pierce chance from the tree, which is in a bad position anyways). the cloud wont have the culling effect, but the initial hit does - so the culling itself is only helpful vs bosses.

It's good on non-SRS summoners. Pretty high DPS and the weapons are mega tanky if you push them to level 25. The main problem for SRS is that they block spirits from attacking.

please be aware that the "skill tree analyze" on the cb database currently is bugged and does not represent the current tree. If you check my tree again, you can clearly see that ive allocated 7 dex points, yet the analyzer says i have +60dex. Same for Aura effect, i have 54 allocated if you add up all of them, yet the analyzer says 48. Be careful with that guys!

As of the latest patch 2nd and 3rd trees aren't displaying. Any chance for an update of them? I have a friend that wants to try SRS in the beta, building a tree is beyond his skill level, and I don't know summoners that well.
