Crafting a Claw Help

I want to craft a good physical damage claw since they seem to be lacking. The wiki page is a little dated, and I wanted to make sure I'm planning this right.
1. Get an ilvl 77 or 78 imperial claw? I want a fast claw. 2. Transmute, then alt until I get either a flaring or tyrannical mod? 3. Once I get flaring or tyrannical, is this where I would eternal? 4. What next? With master crafting, it all gets hazy to me. I do have all my masters at level 8. Thanks |

NONONO. Not imperial claw. you are supposed to aim for that claw with 6% leech, i cannot remember the name. That is what claws are famous for, high leech rate.
Take note that claws have much lower maximum dps than other weapon classes. |

The end result should be cheaper with the granite flask recipe/regal than with pure alt bombing. If regal is good (ie. cruel, tyrannical or emperor or conqueror), continue with master crafting.
