elemental reflect owns me

how the hell do i combat this?
even when i hit my pot i can one shot myself

have vaal pact passive
acuity gloves
and 6% life leech on ammy (physical damage leeched as life)


at this point dying really sucks
1 death takes 2 1/2 rots to make back up the xp

i am open for ideas.
am i doing to much damage?

i have life on almost everything. still only at 4500+ life

is it the build (tornado shot)

any suggestions are more than welcome, ty

physical reflect as long as i hit my pot, i can face tank it

You never gave me any good info to help you with; so I'm just going to be real general.

Purity auras
Recharge on crit resist potions
Evasion and dodge
Swap some of your elemental damage into physical damage
Switch some of your elements: if you are 70% cold 30% fire; switch to 50% cold 50% fire

For me maxing out my resist,dodge,endurance charges and leech help alot.

the best way to avoid elemental damage with your primary attack is to setup a secondary attack that deals mostly physical damage. when you see that elemental reflect aura, you use your secondary attack so you don't one shot yourself

I guess you use Hatred, Herald of Ash and supports like Added Fire or Phys. to Lightning so your hits deals mostly elemental damage now. Even 6% of phys. leech won't help a lot. One way is to use Life Leech gem in place of Added Fire gem, second is to use Warlords Mark curse. These two leech some % of all damage instead of just phys. Both have their pros and cons too.
That's what my glass ball said me.

Physical to lightning gem is my bane then in my bow
And added cold damage with frenzy in my chest

Will looki into swapping those out on rots

lol you got 6% Physical Leech on ammy but ele reflect ows you... You need to deal more physical damage than you are doing ele damage now.

VP + Acuity makes totally no sense....

i'd say your res are bad, ur leech is bad, the life is to low/midtier, and prolly your tree aswell.
also in a party u get a lot ele dmg aura buffs from everywhere

Toned it down to 40, hit level 98 last night
