Confusing mechanic

Ok, so this is the weapon im using on my lvl 26 witch, just entered cruel. The reason I am using it, is soley for the Crits and spell damage, where sadly i have not found better yet for that combo.





After reading the mechanics thread, it seems that this crit rating may only effect the default attack from the wand (40% crit chance) and not my spark spell ?



If this is the case, could another established spark/nova witch link me a weapon they are using?

would this instead be better?

Crit chance "for all damage" does exactly that: applies to all damage. If it were just for the weapon, it would say "x% increased critical strike chance."

This is what I originally thought, so the first dagger indeed does give more benefits then the wand itself.


I heard contradicting information, which did not make sense. So Im glad something so silly is clarified :)
