uh... Kaom's Sign?
Why is it so highly regarded? it has strength, health, an endurance charge, and 2% life leech. is that combination of stats really that good over, say, high itemlevel prismatic ring?

Most people use 1 of them for their melee builds.
Other than that, they aren't highly regarded at all. |

The extra endurance charge is what's important
Endurance charges grant a flat +5% reduction in damage - so some people use a build that gets 7 or more Endurance charges, which reduces the damage they take by 35% - this is on top of the reduction that high armour values give, so people can reduce the damage they take by a lot with two of these rings. You can also use this skill, combined with a bunch of endurance charges, increased buff effect passives, etc, to get 30+ seconds of full physical damage immunity. well i mean WHY do most people use for melee? thats my question. is the 2% leech that good?
EDIT: Just saw the post above me. So the endurance charge makes sense... but is it worth losing a slot for a much higher level ring like that? seems so gimmicky, relying on charges to survive. Last edited by Taggrin#6466 on Feb 10, 2013, 2:27:36 PM

relying on game mechanics is gimmicky?

" Depends solely upon your build. If you rely on the two extra endurance charges, then you would sacrifice the two rings slots to get them. "I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant; it's what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are." - Mewtwo
