HC Self found totem build?

Can you do a totem build on self found? I don't know anything about totem builds, but I RIPped at level 65 in HC, and I want to try something new. Are there any absolutely required items for a totem build that I wouldn't be able to find?

If you have a link to a build I'd appreciate it, or any information you got. I don't want to die this time :P

Sadly im a noob even tho i had like 10 lvl 65-85 lvl chars in HC, so i can't really say anything regarding your asking.
But i had a lvl 85 HC dual flame totem build, and all i can say that...just no. It's boring in the end + you're squishy, even a white mob can 2 hit u if u're careless (note that i was using semi-good-shit gear, maybe that's the case).

yes, shockwave is safer but slower clear speed though
