Character Morality

I've heard a lot of people lately wondering about the exiles and their morality, so I thought I'd give a handy chart:

Very Evil--Witch (cannibal, child murderer)

Evil--Shadow (professional killer)

Real Douchebag--Duelist (killed a dude just because)

Average Douchebag--Ranger (disdainful misandrist)

Kind of Douchey--Marauder (arrogant, looks down on those who aren't like him)

Probably Good--Scion (depending on whether she's telling the truth about her wedding night, up to interpretation)

Almost Certainly Good--Templar (political exile)

I thought it all had a delightful symmetry.
thx for that Loreweaver, although i must have missed the part about the witch killing her baby....can you link or reference that for me? Is that the dead baby on the beach????

It's in the witch introductions. She mentions that she wouldn't have taken their children if they left her alone.

I don't really agree with the duelist. I always took away that someone dishonored him at a pub, challenged him and won. I thought of him as an honorable man, but opinions and takeaways are always different.

Have you ever heard the Scion talk? That might make you reevaluate :)
Thanks for all the fish!
After about 1/2 hour I muted her, she wouldn't stfu.

Cannibal? Why? And a professional killer = evil? The Templar is also an uncompromising religious fanatic. They all seem anti-social greyish characters to me. Which is why I'm going to really dislike if A4 is going to have some kind of selfless save-the-world storyline.

The cop out explanation will be they live on the planet so they have no choice but to save it.

Very Evil- Templar (Heretic sinner)

Evil- Scion (Killed in cold blood)

Real Douchebag- Marauder (Talamoana warrior)

Average Douchebag- Ranger (disdainful misandrist)

Kind of Douchey- Duelist (Stubborn about honor)

Probably Good- Shadow (Kills corrupt politicians for a living)

Almost Certainly Good- Witch (Misunderstood)

I'd rank Marauder higher personally. He always came across as more stoic than not, with occasional bluster and braggadocio sprinkled in. His disdain is reserved solely for enemies or creatures of evident hostility.

If you attempt to use a skill in town, he's the only Exile that flat out says, "It would be wrong to do that here."

I despise Ranger. She's not just a misandrist. She's the sort of person that thinks nature is good and anthropormorphizes and even thanks it. She's the worst sort of misanthropist. She is, as expected, narrow-minded. She is easily baffled that something like the Vaal Oversoul could belong in the "world she knows."

Shadow is plainly a murderer, but he doesn't dress it up in these layers of bullshit justifications that Ranger does. He acknowledges the Oversoul with aplomb. And responds to anything unexpected with wit.

Scion is a dreamy teen. Like the sort of person who writes in her diary and doesn't really make sense. Although that may be partly because she's particularly receptive to the Nightmare.
