The Odd One Out--Spark and the Projectile Change
the way he worded the global memory thing, leads me to assume that if ANY of the projectiles hit an obstacle that isn't a foe and a different one already hit a foe to do... whatever, then that projectile that hit the wall, refreshes the effects of the others of same casting.
only thing that doesn't "reset" is the duration. granted this (one of all projectiles granting "forget" to the others) needs testing to confirm however. its just how i read his very clear post. =p |

But one thing still confuses me:
Mark_GGG said that they will share a memory. And at the start only 1 spark can hit 1 target until any other spark of that volley bounces. right? What I want to know is: I´m in a room with 3 monsters and cast 7 sparks (gmp). My spark duration is about 3sec (quite long). 1. As it happens... one spark hits all 3 monsters (is or will be possible? if no other bounced already?) 2. One bounced and all 7 spark reset their memory. Can all sparks hit all 3 targets how often they like? or does this procedure continue? (one spark hit a target and others can´t hit that target until any bounces again) |

" 2 is correct. The sparks share a memory of the same volley. So if one hits again, the entire volley is reset to passive(cannot attack) on that monster. Until a bounce happens. At least that's how i understand it. Peace, -Boem- Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes

Spark is hurt badly by this.
It will need some significant mechanical changes to be worthwhile in the future, not just numerical. It's worth noting that +2 maps are a dangerous thing.
They can cause players to get out of their depth - playing maps that are too hard for the items they currently have. Herp Derp. |

what if you in a big open area with nothing to bounce and only one enemy, like a boss? vaal spark screwed then as with random nature of their movements each volley could have two or three hit same target

" If you read Mark's post, you'd see that currently Spark is heavily buffed by the mechanic change. However, that will probably change by the time beta is over. |

that's not a buff
