idea to make skills look better

it would be interesting if support gems each added their own unique visual effect to a primary skill. they could be subtle visual effects, like different colors around the weapon or projectiles, or could be slightly elaborate like glowing / glittery effects. would definitely make the slightly "dull" skill effects like tornado shot and split arrow be fun to look at while playing. i'm sure the team at GGG could think if good ways to implement the concept if they liked it.

No, it is not.
I'd care more about them improving the basic animations for a lot of skills than something like this. I doubt it'll come though. I was very disappointed by the Vigilant Strike animation, it basically was just a normal attack. Very unimpressive for a skill that is meant to hit hard AND have a cool down. Hopefully it is placeholder.
