Reducing the duration reduces the travel time, effectively making the spell faster. While Reduced Duration affects your ability to cast it again, I am not sure it interacts multiplicatively with cast speed because I believe the spell has two phases: the Cast phase and the movement phase. The first interacts with cast speed and the second interacts with movement speed & skill duration. Yeah, it's not multiplicative. I've found that faster cast speed is far better than any reduced duration, since the support alone makes it near instant with a leveled LW gem. I think it depends on what you want to do with the gem. If you want to use it to travel big distances, then I think reduced duration may be worth it alongside faster casting. I use LW, reduced duration, faster casting and empower in The Vertex, effectively putting me at 101% reduced duration. Still, there is the cast time, so it's not instant. Like it was stipulated bu Nurvus, LW has two phases: first the casting phase, which will always take several deciseconds at least, then the move phase, which can be cancelled out like I did. I like this kind of uniques: enabling a big thing with a huge downside. I lean more towards seeing this ring as a rarely used niche thing for creative builds then as being OP for OP builds, which makes it a good item! How about a unique unset ring with an ability like?: Gem socketed in this ring is linked to every other gem equipped. Or maybe tone it down to: Support Gem socketed in this ring is linked to every other gem equipped. Or turn it into an unset amulet? :3 You mean turn one-handed hand-slot items into four links? Maybe, but I doubt it. I do think an unset amulet is in order. I mean, if you can make rings with sockets, I'm certain you can make amulets with sockets, especially since amulets usually get bigger before rings do.
