Sick of bloodline

P-link is going to be removed. The only somehow annoying thing that remains is then necrovigil, everything else is a great addition to the (faceroll) game.

Sadly the first QQ cracks & leaks are already showing in force. When BL will be added to the core game, the QQ dam will break and probably force GGG to additionally nerf BL.

Making BL mods rare is pointless and could be even more dangerous than 100% spawn rate (because you'll let your guard down)

E:
Imo HC leagues should retain 100% spawn rate of nemesis and bloodlines mods. Having the same "core game" for SC & HC obviously compromises too much both.

I'm quite impressed with most of the Bloodline mods. Things like Bearers of the Guardian really do add a skill-check and create opportunities for strategy. There are some negatives such as a ubiquitous P-link and Necrovigil whines because they do absolutely nothing whatsoever when it comes to strategy or skill. All they do is slow your gameplay down without challenging you in any fashion.

Some of them, like Bearers of Obelisk, do seem to be specifically targeted to screw melee over with no corresponding range-banes. On the whole, however, I've thoroughly enjoyed the 1M with Bloodlines and am actually disappointed that I didn't play the longer Bloodlines league.

Edit: my biggest criticism would be that a majority of the Bloodlines mods simply don't have enough of an impact. Things like the pulsebloods, frost/flame/lightning bearers and Otherworldly packs are simply ignored by me (i.e. I mow them down as if they were any old white pack). It would make zero difference to my gameplay if those mobs were normal blue mobs. There are, in practice, only a very few mods which actually change how I play.

Nothing unusual. When trying to implement features of one of the most failed leagues ever, liked by a minority of players and despised by the rest.
People will rage and bloody ill-thought modes will hopefully vanish.

Same happened to Invasion and mind there are still doubts which of both leagues was worse.

Was there ever a successful HC league then? Because if BL is failed, then so was Nemesis (but I haven't heard anyone say that, ever).

BL makes the game less faceroll. Previous to it, blue mobs were just things you'd twoshot, instead of oneshot. Yes, it slows combat down a bit, but mostly in a tactical way (obelisk, guardian, otherwordly, frozen sky, voidspawn...) and less in an obnoxious way (Plink (removed anyway), necrovigil (might still get the banhammer))

Well, nemesis was indisputably the best HC league they ever came up with.

I know they had good intentions, but implementation of most of the modes was/is ridiculous. By implementation I don't mean only the technical and balance factors, but the way modes fit to the game.
They shoved tedious (not even so challenging or smth.) features in a fast paced grinder. Fail.
In Invasion they added ridiculous spike damage on top of the natural spike damage in this game.
A chain of bad decisions. There's nothing strange people disliked.

funny how people seem to ignore the most dangerous mod, Cult of the Elements?
I mean voidspawn, obelisks, living blood can be skipped, guardian/otherwordely hardly one-shot people, but when you get extradamage, hasted blue leapers/devouers in a bad map, you are basically toasted while you have very little/no control over it.

yeah, it can be cured with flasks(or some items) but it still feels a little op to me, atleast when paired Temp. chains and extra as X-mods.. maybe the shock should be halved?

ps. no, i did not have died to CotE, yet... :D

Bloodline is one of better addition to the game.

PoE is very lacking in combat aspect of the game, and very simple, and GGG knows it. Nemesis and bloodlines are attempts to improve it and make the game more complex. And bloodline does it to some extend, but its still lacking as most of the bloodline mods are triggered after death or are just buffs. There needs to be more active skill (like frozen sky mod).

I hope they will be adding more, how to say active bloodline mods in the future

But anyway great addition to the game
