Torment / Bloodline Mods

Please Just PLEASE, Think about what you guys are doing.... DON'T ADD THIS TO THE GAME!! Bloodlines is completely Frustrating and I just can't handle it, I don't like torment neither, Just please I am begging you, don't make the game completely annoying to play, you guys say they will barely spawn or they would be rare, but i doubt it because I see nemesis rares like its nemesis even though its the normal play-through. I just don't want to see them period, there is not enough optimization to get everything needed to play through theses safely. This is one thing that is restricting me from playing the game for more than 30 minutes without just exiting the game with a headache. Just leave them as a map mod or something like with all of the other not up to par league mods.

Bloodlines to me adds that extra way of slowing down the game, Necrovigil, Cannibalism, Bearers, Otherworldly, Heralds of Obelisk, Shared Boon, and living blood Makes the game feel so slow because you have to either way for a mob in small areas or hit some super tanky shit that hits for so much damage because chaos res is hard to come by, (otherworldly) or wait for bearers to explode or have a monster heal through your damage, thats not difficult, thats just completely boring, atleast they noticed that P-Link was completely a bad idea considering things like devos and etc, but when you get leapers with this, its just cancerous, and Torment is just soo under thought out, im not for it, its like so bad imo. Bloodlines was planned but not executed correctly, The reason why Nemesis was so good is because they don't slow down gameplay at all. But Bloodlines Ehh not for me, neither is torment and this hitting the actual game is restricting me from wanting to play it any longer.

Please maintain everything that would make him faceroll the game a tad slower. General pace of combat does need to come down a little bit. I shouldn't need a 144 hz monitor just to keep track of everything. :/

Torment is fine, Bloodlines is awful. I just posted a pretty in-depth review of the bloodlines mods. I agree that they should NOT be added to the main game.

If you arent playing this game for a challenge then why exactly are you playing? Rolling through content gets boring quick. The fact that I need to think about what I'm doing makes the game much more enjoyable. Yes it slows it down, but what exactly are you in a rush for? Besides running maps and the occasional Atziri try, there isnt anything else. Enjoy your build. Hell, for the first time since I can remember, I've had to skip areas due to the combination of mods. It was great. Obelisks with ball lightning, Necrovigil, and a random rare which had "allies cannot die" made for an interesting StrongBox in which I had to just give up after 5 minutes to trying to weed down the mobs without killing myself. Yes my "experience per hour" went down, but so what.

I will say, P-link is just plain dumb, but based on what I'm reading, that is going away. The rest of the mods are fantastic IMO.
I like how everyone bashes OP for not wanting a challenge (assuming thats his goal) when hes 8/8.

The bloodlines mods, unlike the Nemesis ones are not challenging. Please I want someone to try and tell me they are.

Bearers of the Guardian (Requires monster level 60)


This one isn't difficult or at least wasn't to the character I played in bloodlines, I don't think I ever got hit by his ranged attack (ondars\acro)

This one is just a big FU to melee, for ranged it adds no challenge, i'd compare this similar to D3's molten chains.

Corrupted Bloodline


Depending on build can be scary, but because of corrupting blood, everyone has a bleed removal pot.

Cult of the Elements


Annoying, again another FU to melee.

Flame/Frost/Storm Bearers


Super delayed explosion isn't challenging, its a bit annoying at best.

Flaring/Rime/Static Pulseblood


Similar to chaos bond, but much weaker IMO. Still not a challenge for anything ranged.

Heralds of the Obelisk


Again another FU to melee. Can be annoying to get all of them killed, but this encourages the playstyle that people seems to hate on so much.

Keepers of the Trove


Most difficult mod IMO as it forces you to leave the map and or use all your ID scrolls. /s Obviously not a difficult mod.

This one wasn't a challenge for me, I'd say the frenzy one would be the scariest if it was on dischargers or something, aside from that this mod is pointless.

Probably the most WTF GTFO one out of these bunches. Annoying as hell to play when leveling at higher level defenses should be strong enough to just approach this one a bit differently. This is what honestly all the bloodlines should be similar to, but good challenge affix doesn't mean everything should be added to the main game.

Between this one and the one below (necro) you want a corpse consuming mechanic in your links, I hope this if it gets added is toned down in spawn rate because its annoying, not challenging.

I want this skill, no really I want this skill added. As for the challenge after the adjustments its not there. This one paired with all the resistance\ele ones on here are not a challenge.

These are annoying, I'd say one of the better designed ones from a challenge standpoint, but in the packs its just zzz how much longer until I can kill this.

Being removed. Honestly it should have worked like the one highlighted took extra damage, but ones that weren't only took 25% or whatever. From a balance standpoint no way to make this mod anything but annoying.

Extra mobs, one of the more popular ones. Not challenging, but free loot is nice.
