Which one would provide the best increase in DPS overall?

You can't ignore the 2% Life Leech you're getting, as well. Along with the belt you're probably going to use, and maybe a corrupted ammy, you're at 3-4%, more than enough to remove the Life Leech gem.

The doryani's catalysts will also buff herald of thunder's lightning strikes.

Not to mention that dual catalysts provide 20% increased cast speed to counteract the cast speed buff from Pledge's spell echo, and up to 80% increased crit chance for arc. And also an additional 3% base block chance.

Pledge
It's a 7L afterall, will give you much more DPS. Arc + Faster Casting + Lightning Penetration + Power Charge on Critical + Life Leech + Empower Supported with LVL 30 Spell Echo. Double Doryani's can't beat this. Also Maximum Mana buff from Pledge is gonna make running AA or spamming your Arc with Voidbringer so much easier. Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

lvl 30 spell echo is a 70% "More" modifier. Doryani's is "increased" the difference is substantial. Also the 100% increased mana that Pledge offers will free up several passive nodes that would otherwise be allocated to mana in most builds with the same result.

Just wanna add Pledge allows a 2nd 5-6 link in the chest armor which can come in handy for massive Vaal Storm Calls or Curse on Hit multicursing.

Pledge of hands. That 4% leech is not enough once you reach a high enough dps, with pledge it is more or less a free life leech as well, you would normally be forced to use it with arc either way.
